This is a pungent, earthy, and easy oil. Perfect on grilled meats, fish or vegetables.
You will need:
1 cup olive oil
4 garlic cloves
1 cup basil leaves
Place everything in a food processor. Purée. Important…….leave in processor and pulse every hour for 4 hours. Place in a mesh strainer to remove oil. Keep the basil and garlic purée to toss with hot pasta, diced tomato’s and grated cheese! The oil will keep in the refrigerator for one week.
