Avocado Crema

I always over buy avocados, and there is usually a few stragglers that are a hot minute from going bad.   So I decided to make this crema to enjoy over our grill shrimp tacos last night ! It’s also perfect on any grilled meats, eggs or for tortilla chips!


You will need:


2 large ripe avocados, peeled, pitted, cut into large chunks

1/2 cup whole milk Greek yogurt

2 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp ground cumin

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Kosher salt and black pepper


Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until creamy.  Serve right away.
