Creamy Basil Dressing

A beautiful symphony of fresh basil, garlic and heavy cream. However, you can substitute the heavy cream for milk, Greek yogurt or sour cream, whatever you may have handy. I had the heavy cream in the fridge from several recipes lately,  and it really added some depth!


You will need:

2 garlic cloves minced

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1/2 cup packed basil leaves

1/2 cup mayo

2 tbsp heavy cream ( or substitutions above)

Salt and pepper to taste


Add all the ingredients to a blender or food processor.    Pour into a container and refrigerate until ready to use.
