Homemade Crostini

Sure you can purchase this at the store, but its very simple to make. And you can use for many recipes.

You will need:

Baguette sliced in 1/2 inch pieces

Olive oil and basting brush

1 whole garlic clove

Lightly baste each side of the slices of bread with olive oil. Bake at 400 for 5 minutes turning half way. I like to use a baking rack on top of the baking pan so the heat hits evenly. You are looking for a light, toasty color. Immediately, when you remove the bread, use the whole garlic clove and rub the tops of each slice, the garlic will just melt into it. The aroma is TO~DIE~FOR~

Top with bruschetta. Or ricotta, mozzerella and anything your heart desires.
