My husband, the king of BBQ. makes this slaw anytime we fire up the grill for burgers, ribs, or pulled pork. He grew up working at a legendary BBQ spot in his hometown, so he knows all the secrets. The best part? It’s super simple to make……just needs a little chill time in the fridge to let the flavors come together. My secret? I grab a bag of pre-shredded cabbage to save time (and mess)!
You will need:
1 package shredded cabbage
1 cup mayonnaise ( Im still a Dukes fan)
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp white wine vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.Pour the slaw dressing over the cabbage. Thoroughly mix to combine. Refrigerate until ready to serve.Cole slaw is always better after sitting for a day, make sure to mix the slaw a few times as it sits in the fridge.
