Ahhh fall in a glass with a little kick. Maple is a great way to replace the sugar in an old fashioned. It gently sweetens like simple syrup with a little flavor nuance. I absolutely love this one, its smooth and luxious!
You will need:
2 oz bourbon ( I used Buffalo Trace)
1 tsp maple syrup
4 dashes bitters
Cinnamon stick for garnish
Large ice cube
Fill cocktail shaker 1/2 way with ice, then add bourbon, syrup and bitters. Shake atleast 30 seconds and strain into highball glass with large ice cube. Garnish with cinnamon stick.
